This week's quiz will be on similes/metaphors, imagery, symbolism, and mood. Students will also need to know the definitions for narrative/lyric poems, repetition, refrain, and theme, which were on the quiz before the Mardi Gras holidays. The video has all the class notes including how to write a paragraph analyzing a simile or metaphor, which will also be on the quiz. As always if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

POWER POINT TO REVIEW FOR POETRY QUIZ
This video will help students review for their multiple choice quiz on Thursday. The quiz will cover lyric poems, narrative poems, refrain, repetition, theme, and rhyme scheme.
